Well, it's been a while since our last new release "It Ain't Fun" (3 years in fact, wow!). A lot has changed, first of all I actually learned how to play ska guitar properly, but the biggest difference is that old singer left the band, which just so happens to be what this song is about. There's also a b-side about how I like ska so much, it was supposed to be funny but it isn't really because I wrote it 3 years ago. Anyways stay tuned because we've got some more music coming soon.
I guess I thought you'd never leave
The way things used to be
It's nothing new really
Atleast that's how it seems
You came through the door
Maybe you'll come through once more
Like nothing even happened
Which I guess is kind of true
The summer is almost, is almost over
I haven't seen you since, since January
So I'll go my own way too
There's really nothing else to do
Even if there was a way to
There's nothing left to say to you
Now that the fall will be here soon
There's nothing left to say to you
I went to the store and I bought CD
Ever since that day I've seen the world differently
I heard a sound I've never heard before
I knew right then that I needed more
I was hooked from the start when I heard the "pick it up"'s
And the horns and the guitar and the "oi oi oi"'s
I love the black and white checkerboard patterns
It was then when I knew I was a teenage rudeboy
I was hooked from the start when I heard the "pick it up"'s
And the horns and the guitar and the "oi oi oi"'s
I love the organs, horns and unity
It was then when I knew I was a teenage rudeboy
